All Rotweiler maps are fully routable and indexed (searchable) for all NT-compatible Garmin GPS devices. Our maps provide full voice guidance on voice-capable units. All of our maps are available as MapSource/BaseCamp installers. Most maps are also available as Mac-compatible mapsets, viewable on your computer as well as your GPSr.

We have thousands of hours invested in these mapping projects. While we all do this as a hobby and our maps have previously been made available to the GPS mapping community without charge, mapping and the internet unfortunately cost money.If you would like to download our maps, please make a PayPal donation to help defray our costs. All donors of $50.00 or more receive subscriptions to directly download all maps on the site, including all future versions of the maps. Login information will be provided by return email. Please note that responses to emails may not be immediate as we are away from our main location mapping on a regular basis. If you would like to sample one of the maps, we have prepared a demo map of an area familiar to most residents and visitors to Bangkok - the area around Ploenchit and Sukhumvit Roads in Bangkok including Soi Nana/Soi 4 and Soi Cowboy. This map - as are all Rotweiler maps - is fully routable and searchable on all Garmin GPSrs.

Rotweiler's Bali Indonesia Routable Version 3.60. This map covers the entire Island of Bali, Indonesia. It provides full and accurate routing of the entire island.
The Bali map covers the entire Island of Bali. Version 3.60 of the Bali map continues where we left-off work 6 months ago. The map has a many new roads and POIs, as well as improvements to existing roadway alignments. More importantly, it includes City listings for cities inadvertantly dropped (Kuta, Sanur, Ubud as examples). Please note that not every village, town, hotel, casino, or other POIs are on the map. If you don't find something you think should be there, send us the POI or route and help us improve this map!

This build was processed with the latest version of cGPSMapper resulting in much improved indexing/searching and in routing. We recommend you remove any previous installations of Rotweiler's Bali before installing this mapset as there have been some changes in how the map was processed. | |

Rotweiler's Myanmar Routable Version 1.41 - Routable map of the Union of Myanmar. As with all Rotweiler maps, this mapset is fully routable and indexed.
The Myanmar mapset covers much of the Union of Myanmar. Most of the major highways are included as well as detail for the country's major cities. This build includes substantially improved roads in in the Irrawadi region. Based on our recent overland trip from Ranong to Yangon, this mapset is navigation-ready, certainly for the routes, areas, and cities visitors to the country are likely to travel. This build includes many updated roads, especially in south and western Myanmar. A big thank you to all who provided POIs and routes - ESPECIALLY Nguyen! Without the assistance of our members, our maps would not be possible.
A brief comment on the issue of highways standards in Myanmar. For anyone who HAS travelled in the country, it will be no surprise when we say that the Union of Myanmar has some of the best (and some of the worst) highways in Southeast Asia. The latter should be no surprise - but the former was - for us at least. For example, the new National Highway 1 is spectacular!. We have attempted to use the speed limit controls to modify the standard of the roadways and attempt to bring the marked speeds closer to reality, but in the absense of detailed information on many of the roads, it is best you be forwarned.
And a note on Myanmar itself. We must applaud and thank the authorities of the Union of Myanmar for the cooperation and the assistance they have provided. They have been nothing but helpful. But a warning is in order. Please ensure that all your travel papers are in order, including internal travel permits for the route you wish to travel. There are MANY areas closed to foreigners, especially in areas were local disturbances exist. Your closest Myanmar embassey or other diplomatic post will be pleased to assist you. If you are travelling through Myanamar to, say, China, India or Bangladesh, special permits ARE required! Again, your Myanmar diplomatic post can assist you. They can be most helpful.

This mapset has full search ("Find") functions for all Cities, Points of Interest and roads both in MapSource or BaseCamp on your computer and on your GPSr. This build is a complete re-working of the mapset of Laos, including hundreds of new points of interest, additional routes, corrected alignments, and new alignments for most major and intermediate roads. The mapset is processed to work seamlessly with all Rotweiler mapa. We also provide numerous comments on road conditions and road standards, including roads that are useable only by motorcycles and experienced 4-wheel vehicles.
Please note the following comment regarding roadway conditions in the People's Democratic Republic of Laos:
Roadway designations on the map are those assigned by the Government, and are not necessarily an indication of the actual condition of the road. SOME major highways are very good, some are VERY poor. The condition may also vary between seasons - what is passable in dry conditions may be utterly impassable in rainy season. Bridges come and go (perhaps not the bridges themselves but their usability), and the alignments of highways themselves can change from season to season.
All that said, MOST of the roads marked as major highways are passable all year round (sort-of).
Building these maps would not be possible without the input, in the form of POIs and tracks, of our users. Special thanks to Han, Chi, Michael, and all others who contributed to the making of this mapset.

We do N O T recommend using MapSource Version 6.14.1 as it contains a glitch which affects the POI "Find" function (in MapSource). If you currently use MapSource 6.14, please upgrade before using this mapset. For further information on MapSource, please read this.
Thailand Version 6.02 has been completely recompiled using the latest version of the cGPSMapper compiler (THANK YOU, STAN!) which has resulted in much more accurate turn restrictions at intersections and more accurate routing through roundabouts.

If you currently use MapSource 6.14, please upgrade before using this mapset. For further information on MapSource, please read this.
